The neighborhood's main access road, the Rancho Solano Parkway, winds around the golf course and hills blooming with oak trees. Rancho Solano has about 1,200 homes across six gated residential communities. Most properties have monthly HOA fees under $100. This area features New Traditional and Mediterranean homes with stucco siding and tile roofs. Prices range from $700,000 to $1.2 million. Townhouses cost between $550,000 and $800,000. "It's a great midpoint between cities, and the prices are almost half of some areas," Klink says. "Each village has its own gate. The first homes sold in the 80s, and the last of the tract homes finished in 2011."
The neighborhood's CAP Index crime score is 1 out of 10, which is lower than the national average of 4. Rancho Solano is also prone to wildfires, and residents may need an evacuation plan. Compared to many parts of California, the area also has worse air quality than 80% of places in California.

The Rancho Solano Golf Course has won multiple awards for having well-maintained greens, some of the largest in Northern California.
