It is served by the Carbon Valley Chamber of Commerce. “While the area is growing rapidly, it still holds onto its small-town feel,” says Jenny Hart, a Firestone local and Realtor with Keller Williams Commercial. “At one point, Carbon Valley was the fastest-growing region in the county, but neighbors know each other and help one another. That’s one of the reasons I’ve decided to stay here year after year.”

Colorado State Highway 119 provides a direct route to Longmont, roughly 12 miles west. Interstate 25 runs through the west end of Firestone and spans around 30 miles south to downtown Denver and about 40 miles north to Fort Collins. The Denver International Airport is roughly 32 miles southeast.
