Transfort
Transfort has bus stops on Prospect Road and Welch Street. For drivers, the quickest route to Old Town is taking Prospect Road to Whedbee Street. Interstate 25 and Route 287 can take travelers 20 miles south to Loveland or 60 miles south to Denver.Bike to downtown eateries
East Moon Asian Bistro is at the corner of Prospect Road and Lemay Avenue and serves dishes ranging from Thai green curry and kung pao beef. Old Town and downtown Fort Collins are 2 miles north of the neighborhood and are the city’s main shopping and dining hubs. “Most people walk or bike places whenever possible to avoid parking downtown,” Sibbald says. “With our increasing population, it's been harder to find spots. It’s a problem that the city is working on fixing, with plans to build new parking garages.” Explorado Market has a wide range of gluten-free pastries and other cafe items. Coopersmith’s Pub and Brewing is around the corner and has classic pub bites and 20 rotating craft beers on tap. Nearby grocery options include Target, Lucky's Market and Safeway.
