Outdoor recreation in east Fort Collins
English Ranch Park lies just west of the community’s residential streets and has a baseball diamond, soccer fields, a playground and picnic pavilions. The Collindale Golf Course was the first public course in Fort Collins, dating back to 1971. The 18-hole course has rolling fairways and evergreen-lined greens, along with an on-site eatery, C.B. & Potts. Across the street, Warren Park is popular among local sports enthusiasts, with facilities for baseball, tennis, soccer and basketball, along with a playground and a scenic pond. The Front Range Village shopping center is a short drive south of English Ranch and has well-known stores like Target, Lowe’s and Sprouts Farmers Market. East Horsetooth Road borders English Ranch to the north and is dotted with bus stops operated by Transfort, which has 25 routes throughout the city.
