With 25 miles of shoreline and 1,900 surface acres, the Horsetooth Reservoir sees over 550,000 visitors each year. The area is busiest in the summer months for fishing, swimming, tubing and paddle boarding. The Red Fox Meadows Natural Area is a protected animal habitat and stormwater detention site with a mile of trails. Rolland Moore Park has a playground, paved walking trails and facilities for pickleball, volleyball, soccer, basketball and baseball. The park’s four baseball diamonds play host to the Fort Collins Adult Softball League. The Holiday Twin Drive-in Theater is to the southwest of the neighborhood, and is one of only seven drive-in theaters left in Colorado. The Drake Crossing Shopping Center is home to a Safeway and a small selection of businesses, including Maya Cove, which serves southern-inspired pub fare, from burgers to Alabama-style barbecue, and hosts trivia and bingo nights. Intersect Brewing has around 20 rotating craft beers on tap that can be enjoyed alongside handmade pizza and pretzels. The brewery also has a library of new and used records for patrons to peruse and vintage pinball machines.
