Fairbrooke is a suburban neighborhood in Fort Collins with an abundance of hiking trails, campgrounds and water recreation. There are over 25 miles of shoreline at the Horsetooth Reservoir, where over 550,000 visitors go fishing, swimming, tubing and paddle boarding. It also has 20 miles of hiking and biking trails, campgrounds and picnic areas. The Red Fox Meadows Natural Area is a protected wildlife habitat, and Rolland Moore Park has sports facilities for pickleball, volleyball, soccer and basketball. The Fort Collins Adult Softball League also plays on one of the park’s four baseball diamonds. The Holiday Twin Drive-In Theater is one of the last seven drive-in movie theaters in the state, and the Drake Crossing Shopping Center has a variety of restaurants such as Maya Cove and Intersect Brewing. Downtown Fort Collins can be reached via Taft Hill Road and Laporte Avenue. Highly rated schools in the area include Bauder Elementary, Blevins Middle and Rocky Mountain High.
