An upscale enclave in south Fort Collins
Bordering the shores of the 754-acre Fossil Creek Reservoir, Fossil Lake is a south Fort Collins community just a short walk from its namesake natural area. Large properties allow for privacy and a more natural atmosphere than the community’s northern neighbors, and streets are lined by evergreens and aspens. Residents enjoy quiet streets with minimal traffic. “You can feel the pride of ownership in Fossil Lake,” says Marnie Long, a realtor with The Group, Inc. who has been working in the neighborhood since the first houses were built in the 1990s. “All of the green spaces are really well maintained, and the tall trees lining the streets give the community an established feel.”
