A remote community away from the noise of downtown Fort Collins

On the outskirts of Fort Collins, along the shore of Fossil Creek Reservoir, Kechter Farm has winding residential lanes, paved walking paths and modern architecture, around 8 miles south of downtown. This 21st-century suburbia has quiet, low-traffic streets and homeowners association-maintained amenities with proximity to the big-box stores and eateries along East Harmony Road. “A lot of people move to Kechter Farm from the Old Town area to get away from the noise and busy atmosphere,” says Robert Miner, a local real estate agent with Black Timber Realtors. “It’s a quiet area with excellent schools. The elementary, middle and high schools are some of the best in northern Colorado, plus commuters are near Interstate 25.”
