Maple Hill
Neighborhood in Fort Collins, Colorado
Larimer County 80524
Community engagement with the Maple Hill HOA
The neighborhood was developed by Aspen Homes and Journey Homes between 2005 and 2015, with craftsman-style builds, modern traditionals and ranch-style homes lining the streets. Sidewalks connect the community’s lanes, and minimal traffic allows for an ideal walking atmosphere. While front yards are quaint, pride of ownership across the neighborhood lends itself to well-maintained lots and, each month, the HOA announces a yard of the month in its newsletter. “Some houses back up to a natural area and a walking path, which gives a more private feel,” says Larsen. Homes in Maple Hill are more affordable than the Fort Collins average, with prices ranging from $490,000 to $600,000. Residents pay monthly HOA dues and have access to the Maple Hill pool, which offers swim lessons and a seasonal swim team for local kids. The association also hosts community clean-up days, landscaping workshops, holiday celebrations and vendor markets.Premier golf and tennis facilities
The 7-acre Crescent Park is across the street from the pool and has a playground, a basketball court, open field space and a picnic shelter. The private Fort Collins Country Club lies just west of Maple Hill and has a beautifully maintained 18-hole golf course with tree-lined fairways and greens. The club also has one of the largest indoor tennis facilities in northern Colorado, along with a fitness center and an outdoor pool. Greenbriar Park is a short drive south and has facilities for soccer, baseball, basketball and tennis, with a playground and a walking path that winds around a picturesque pond.Career pathways at Poudre High School
Tavelli Elementary School earns an A-minus grade from Niche, while Lincoln Middle School has a B. Middle Schoolers take a computer technology course each year and earn skills in computer science, graphic design and media technology. Poudre High School receives a B-plus and has six career pathways for students to focus on throughout their four years, including agriculture and the environment, entrepreneurship and health sciences and human services. Students can also earn dual credit by taking concurrent enrollment courses at Aims Community College or Front Range Community College.Direct access to Interstate 25
Drivers are less than 3 miles from Interstate 25, which can take them north to Cheyenne or south to Denver. “Residents are within a few minutes of I-25,” Larsen says. “It’s a straight shot from Mountain Vista Drive.” Additionally, there are a few nearby bus stops along College Avenue operated by Transfort.College Avenue restaurants and Old Town shopping
Residents can drive south to College Avenue when looking for a meal out. Elevated Sandwiches serves stacked-high hoagies and salad in a casual atmosphere. Ever Open Cafe offers classic brunch dishes in the morning and comfort foods from chicken fried steak to patty melts for lunch and dinner. Old Town is the most popular hub for shopping and dining in the city, with dozens of local eateries like the Silver Grill Cafe, a popular old-school diner known for its giant cinnamon rolls, with thousands sold every month. King Soopers is also nearby for groceries and other essentials.
