Meadows East is close to numerous expansive parks and trails. Stewart Case Park is nearby on Pinecone Circle and has a playground, a baseball diamond, open field space and a small pond. The Collindale Golf Course was the first public course in Fort Collins, with a clubhouse and evergreen-lined fairways. The Power Trail runs just west of the neighborhood. “It’s a concrete path that spans north to south through the suburbs of Fort Collins,” says Sherianne Daily, a local Realtor who has been working in Fort Collins for over five decades. “It can connect walkers and bikers to our natural areas and parks, along with dozens of miles of additional trails, like the Poudre Trail and Spring Creek Trail. As a city, we are known for being bike friendly, largely due to our extensive trail system.” The Prospect Ponds Natural Area has a mile of trails, picnic areas and ponds where anglers can catch bass, catfish and crappie. A short drive north is Ascent Studio Climbing and Fitness, a rock-climbing gym with bouldering, top-rope and lead-climbing routes, with the tallest walls reaching 49 feet.

Colonial Revivals and split levels in Meadows East
The architectural scene in Meadows East is comprised of Colonial Revivals, ranch-style homes, split-levels and bi-levels. Homes sit close to each other on grassy lots, but mature trees and foliage provide neighbors with a degree of privacy. Fenced-in back yards and attached two-car garages are common. Most houses were built in the 1970s and '80s, with prices ranging from $425,000 to $680,000.
