The 70-acre Edora Park lies just north of Parkwood East and has facilities for baseball, tennis, soccer and disc golf, with an 18-hole course playing host to the North Gate Disc Golf Club. The park also has a popular playground, a skate park and a community garden, where residents of surrounding communities can seasonally rent plot space to grow and harvest their own produce. The Edora Pool Ice Center has an indoor pool and two ice rinks and is the home base to Colorado State University’s water polo and hockey teams, the Fort Collins Figure Skating Club and the Fort Collins Area Swim Team. The paved Spring Creek Trail winds through the north end of Edora Park and spans 9 miles, connecting numerous Fort Collins Parks that lie along its namesake creek.
