Parkwood
Colonial Revivals on Williams Lake
Brick ranch-style homes and columned Colonial Revivals built in the 1960s and 1970s sit on verdant quarter-acre lots, many of which have pollinator gardens and low-water-use landscaping. Parkwood homes are around $100,000 more than the average Fort Collins home, with prices ranging from $600,000 to $1.9 million. Two and three-bedroom homes with less than 2,000 square feet sell for between $600,000 and $850,000, while larger Colonial Revivals and Craftsman homes range from $850,000 to $1.3 million. Houses backing up to Williams Lake make up the market’s high end, with price tags reaching $1.5 million to $1.9 million. Waterfront homes feature private docks and locals paddle board, canoe and kayak here in the warmer months. Additionally, the Parkwood Gardens Condos in the north side of the neighborhood have one and two-bedroom units ranging from $230,000 to $280,000.Bioscience career programs in Poudre School District

Whole Foods and King Soopers are also nearby on South College Avenue.Nearby sports facilities and trails at Edora Park
Parkwood has a member-only pool and clubhouse maintained by the Parkwood Homeowners Association that hosts the local swim team. Edora Park, a half mile north of the neighborhood, has athletic facilities for baseball, basketball and tennis, along with an 18-hole disc golf course. Spring Creek Trail, a 9-mile trail that follows its namesake tributary intersects this park. There's also a playground, skate park and picnic pavilions. “On the weekends and in the summer, Fort Collins residents flock to the Horsetooth Reservoir to swim, paddle board and hike,” says Mike Sibbald, a local realtor with Elevations Real Estate. The 1,900-acre reservoir is bordered by the even larger Horsetooth Mountain Open Space, which has 30 miles of hiking and equestrian trails.Interstate 25 and MAX Transit
Residents can use Interstate 25 to drive 62 miles south to Denver or 46 miles north to Cheyenne. Lemay Avenue and Drake Road are both lined with bus stops served by MAX Transit. It's also a very bike-friendly community. “We have over 200 miles of bike lanes across Fort Collins,” Sibbald says. “A lot of people bike to work for their daily exercise or to avoid the busy parking lots downtown." State Route 35 takes can take drivers 45 miles west to Rocky Mountain National Park.
