Renovated homes in a quiet neighborhood
In Five Points, you’ll find quiet residential streets, narrow sidewalks, the shade of oak trees and a laid-back suburban feel. Most houses here were built in the early to mid-20th century in styles that range from small bungalows and workers' cottages to modest ranch-style homes. “It’s just an affordable area with older homes that are a little bit on the smaller side,” says Warren Barnes, a team leader and associate broker with North Eastern Group Realty. Properties under 1,000 square feet that need repairs can easily sell for under $100,000. For the most part, though, prices start in the low $100,000s and go up to the high $100,000s, depending on the amount of renovation needed.
