A growing community with new amenities

Franklinton is a thriving suburb in west Franklin County with a significant expanse of land in its outlying areas. The neighborhood has gone through recent redevelopments that have added new restaurants and boutiques downtown and improved existing parks and infrastructure. Lot sizes of homes get larger as residents drive further out from the suburb sector, with much of Franklinton’s outer rim being more rural Carolina territory. Realtor team Greg and Wendy Dyer of Julie Wright Realty Group say, “Franklinton is a growing community; developments like Woodland Park are great to move to since it’s a custom home builder neighborhood.”

From mid-sized bungalows to large mountain homes

Franklinton’s modest suburban streets are dotted with compact bungalows, ranch and traditional-style homes. Sidewalk space is ample downtown but not guaranteed in the more rural surrounding areas. Straight driveways and multi-car garages are common to find in many homes in town. Many new construction single-family homes and townhouse complexes are also on the market. Single-family homes in Franklinton range from $250,000 to $700,000. Homebuyers can find a townhouse or 3-bed bungalow at the low end of the range or a mountain home resting on 10 acres towards the top of the range.
