From Clover Hill Civic Association’s private park to Gambrill State Park
Clover Hill Civic Association maintains a private, 13-acre park in the eastern part of the neighborhood. The park has typical recreational amenities like basketball courts and baseball fields and a quirky attraction in the form of a “fairy tree." Legend has it that a sprite spirit makes its home there. To those considering harvesting a neighboring Hawthorn or ash tree with its thick, twisted trunks, "beware."
