The students have access to college classes taken at the high school which is a benefit for kids heading to college after graduation. There are numerous extracurricular activities for the students to engage in. Parent involvement is severely lacking. The staff is engaging and cares about the students.

Governor Thomas Johnson High School is overall a pretty good school. The sports are great and the school spirit is top notch, but the fights and safety could use work.

The school is a brick with a starship ride on top of it. Everyone here are immature drug addicts or are jerks with attitude. The food is bad, I would get threatened by classmates often, people bring knifes and weapons to school. The teachers don't help much with these problems, lots of bullying and harassment.
