Comfortable suburban living with a rich agricultural history
Georgia is part of the Freehold Township, a former farming district that has attracted settlers to the area since the 15th century with the promise of farmland. Today, the town continues to preserve this agricultural history with a mix of green spaces, homes and shops scattered throughout the community. “This is a one-size-fits-all kind of town,” says Kathleen Hobbs, a Realtor with RE/MAX Homeland, who’s been selling homes in the area for over 20 years. “You’re close to major highways, restaurants and parks. It’s a central location that you just can’t beat, so a lot of people who are raised here move back.” Residents enjoy comfortable suburban living on tree-lined streets, with nearby thoroughfares providing easy access to the rest of the Freehold Township and beyond.
