A residential neighborhood surrounded by eateries
Culture, cozy homes, a centralized location and highly rated schools define Monica Park, a suburb of Garland about 17 miles from Dallas. “There are street tacos here for days, and even some of the best I’ve had have come from a gas station,” says Patrick Abell, an active community member and Realtor with United Real Estate for nearly 10 years. Filled to the brim with eateries ranging from hole-in-the-wall Mexican eateries with the best tacos in town to food trails that highlight the numerous Vietnamese restaurants, Garland stands out with its diverse and ever-growing food scene.
Don't forget to try the Onion Rings at Goldmine or you will be missing out on a taste sensation.
