Charming Chicago suburb with impressive schools

Glen Ellyn is a prosperous, civic-minded community with much to offer by way of shopping, dining, arts and entertainment. In fact, it was also hailed as Illinois' choice in the USA Today feature, 'Picturesque Small Towns in Every State!'. “Glen Ellyn was developed along Lake Ellyn, not on a gride like a lot of the surrounding areas,” Pat Turley, a Realtor with The Turley Group and a resident of Glen Ellyn for over 40 years says. “It’s really got this romantic feel to it. The neighborhood has really stayed away from developing as of late; they want the neighborhood to keep its charm.” That charm has brought families to Glen Ellyn, and they’ve stayed for the schools, the green space and the shopping and dining.
