Cattle Creek’s streetscapes are diverse; its northwestern corner is home to a large park of manufactured homes at Cavern Springs, while the central and eastern portions of the neighborhood feature custom builds from the late 2010s and early 2020s. These newer developments feature expansive, green front yards, and rolling hills help form their backyards. Hiking along a river and through the mountains

Named for a nearby creek, this neighborhood is surrounded by nature. The Roaring Fork River forms Cattle Creek’s western boundary, while the Rio Grande Trail follows the course of the river and smaller creeks as it winds toward Aspen. This 42-mile-long trail links Aspen and Glenwood Springs, allowing hikers and cyclists to explore the Roaring Fork Valley without the interruption of traffic. Much of the surrounding countryside is federal land, creating opportunities for camping and hiking. Paths like the Sutey Ranch Trailhead deviate from the main roads and cut into vast swathes of tree-shaded plateaus and Rocky Mountains foothills. The Roaring Fork River is also popular with anglers. The Ironbridge Golf Club is just across the river from Cattle Creek, and this 18-hole, semi-private course offers stunning mountain views as well as food at the clubhouse grill.

A-rated education at Glenwood Springs High

Cattle Creek’s students attend the Roaring Fork School District’s schools in nearby Glenwood Springs. Sopris Elementary School receives a B from Niche, while Glenwood Springs Middle School scores a C-plus and Glenwood Springs High School an A-minus.
