Goulds has a mix of midcentury homes and new construction. Spanish Colonial Revival-style homes built around 1960 are common, and some more recent properties maintain Spanish accents, such as red tile roofing. Many have modest, fenced-in front yards big enough for a garden and the occasional palm tree. Most residential streets have sidewalks sufficient for two.
