Outdoor enthusiasts can hike 3.6 miles along the Hadley Fire Tower trail, which leads to the 1900s station used to patrol forest fires.
Brunches and Asian Bistros
Residents can find all their groceries at the Luzerne Market. For home and hygiene supplies, people must drive a few minutes from town. “The market mostly has what you need in the middle of town, but you’re only 20 minutes from major supermarkets,” says Kenna. Residents can start their day at Rockwell Falls General Store for a homestyle brunch. For dinner, they can drive to Moon Star Asian Bistro for comforting cuisine.

Seeking community in Hadley
The neighborhood's annual events include a maple festival in April, a Memorial Day parade, summer concerts held in Hadley Park and holiday tree lightings in the winter. “I always look forward to going to the fun little community events,” Kenna said. “I can tell people are trying to get back to the community feeling.”
A non-walkable town
Residents must drive down State Highway 9N to get around town. The Albany International Airport is 49 miles away.
