Quiet, secluded village with modern homes

Nearly equidistant from Chicago and Milwaukee, each within 60 miles, the quiet village of Hainesville offers a secluded slice of suburbia. While it’s the oldest incorporated village in Lake County, a drive through the area reveals modern homes, built mainly in the late 1990s and early 2000s. “Hainesville is a small, quiet bedroom community that has been around for a long time,” says Tina Henry, a real estate agent with Coldwell Banker Realty. “The village is mostly made up of homes, but you’re not far from the amenities in downtown Grayslake.”
