Well-planned for friendly, outdoor fun and daily essentials
Overlooking Sloan Canyon in the southern Nevada desert, the master-planned community of Inspirada is a peaceful retreat from central Las Vegas. The development first broke ground in 2007 and continues to expand with new homes, green spaces and the upcoming Station Casino resort filled with entertainment and dining. In the neighborhood, parks offer baseball fields and swimming pools, and events from Wine Walks to Food Truck Fridays nurture connection. Some subdivisions are gated, enhancing the overall upscale feel. Robert Morganti, broker with Life Realty, who has been selling in the area since 2000, says, "It feels sort of idyllic here. Families love that there's always kids out walking around and playing together, and kids love all the fun they can have at pools and parks. You'll always see people out walking their dogs or riding bikes, and it's such a great atmosphere. It's like a country club lifestyle without the country club price." For an extra step in pace, locals have immediate access to Interstate 15, which leads to all the action on the Las Vegas Strip.

Parks with plenty of recreation options plus nearby Revere Golf Club
Inspirada's layout encourages health and fitness. Multiple parks brim with recreational options, including heated pools, play equipment, a splash pad and Little League fields. Trails throughout the community connect these outdoor resources, and friends meet for volleyball, tennis and gatherings in the park ramadas. Potenza Park has a teen skate area, and Solista Park features bocce ball courts and an amphitheater. Pups are treated to dedicated parks for leash-free fun. These lighted places are part turf, part lush landscaping and equipped with waste and water stations. Hikers find their bliss wandering through miles of desert landscape on the Sloan Canyon trails. "This whole community was planned for outdoor living," says Morganti. "There's soccer fields, baseball diamonds, parades, and it's all golf-cart friendly. There's no golf course right in the neighborhood, but people still use carts to get around."
Resident golfers head two miles east to take lessons or play 36 holes at the public Revere Golf Club, which offers discounts for Clark County residents. For those into racing, Speed Vegas is directly off Interstate 15. Guests pay to do laps on a racetrack in rally cars and monster trucks. The site is also home to Vegas Superkarts, which has fun for kids and the young at heart.

"It's an appealing, up-and-coming community,” says broker Lena Pfluke with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices, an area real estate expert since 2017, “where homebuyers can still find lots of new construction.” Across Inspirada's nearly dozen subdivisions, there are more than two dozen different home models. The residential mix includes condos, townhouses, and single-family styles, from tract homes to luxury semi-custom builds. Most homes are built in the Spanish Revival, postmodern or ranch style. Others incorporate modern geometric lines, such as the new condos in Mosaic and townhouses in Amiata.
Condos on the eastern half of Inspirada range from $380,000 to $405,000. Townhouses are found throughout the neighborhood, ranging from $500,000 for a three-bedroom built in 2022 to $800,000 for a 2024 build with an unobstructed view of the Vegas Strip. Single-family homes vary from one-level ranch styles for $540,000 to $1.2 million for a four-bedroom two-story with a three-car garage. Established builders include Toll Brothers, KB Home and TRI Pointe Group. Homeowners will pay HOA dues for the overall master-plan amenities; some may pay additional fees for gates and maintenance. Homebuyers should ask if the home they're considering still has special assessment improvement or local improvement fees owed for creating and maintaining infrastructure such as community lighting, plumbing, sidewalks and roads.

B-Plus Schools and high school football champs
Clark County School District, serving Inspirada public school students, gets a Niche B grade, and all three schools in the Inspirada pipeline earn a B-plus. Most kids start their education at Robert and Sandy Ellis Elementary, built right in the neighborhood in 2018 and named after local philanthropists. Their work includes sponsoring an annual dance for special education students. The community's Del E. Webb Middle School is also named in honor of a philanthropist whose corporation continued his legacy by gifting the school's roads and grounds. Students graduate from Liberty High, home to a football team that's earned nine regional championships since 2010. The charter Pinecrest Academy Inspirada for kindergarten through eighth grade offers a STEM-focused curriculum.

Station Casino Resort planned near Shops at Inspirada
Aside from a selection of chain restaurants such as Taco Bell and Texas Roadhouse along Saint Rose Parkway, Inspirada also has local faves like Breakfast Junkies, known for its cornbread pancakes. Romano is the go-to for wine and pizza, and the new Distill bar serves elevated pub fare and cocktails. The Shops at Inspirada opened in 2022 and the center is still adding to its roundup of retail and services from postal to banking to eateries.
On the horizon for Inspirada is the new Stations Casino at the intersection of Bicentennial Parkway and Via Inspirada. This 80,000-square-foot entertainment hub will include multiple eateries, plus a movie theater and bowling alley. "The new casino is by the same people who created the successful Durango Station," says Morganti, "and it's very similar to Green Valley Ranch, so it's community oriented. It'll have a nice spa, a big hotel for out-of-town guests and lots of new restaurants." M Resort Spa Casino, just 3 miles west, is a luxury destination for everything from table games to big-name concerts.
"There's always a line around the block at Sorry not Sorry Creamery," says Morganti, "for their homemade ice cream." This popular parlor sits next to the West Henderson Library and Starbucks. On the first and third Saturdays of every month, The Fresh52 Farmers &Artisan Market in Solista Park teems with fresh produce and handcrafted goods. Groceries are also convenient at Albertsons off Bicentennial Parkway, and Costco is just north of Inspirada on Saint Rose Parkway.
