The fire department’s spring carnival is one of its biggest fundraisers and features carnival rides, live music and a concession stand with classic fair foods. Residents can also support the HTVFC at their annual car show, sportsman’s raffle and Easter egg hunt in Neil Mutchler Park. The town is also home to several houses of worship, including the Christian Church at Cogan Station and the Balls Mills United Methodist Church.
Shopping and dining in Loyalsock Township or downtown Williamsport
Residents typically head to neighboring Loyalsock Township for shopping and dining. East 3rd Street is about 10 miles away and is home to a commercial corridor known as the Golden Strip.
