Gus Wortham Park Golf Course is a century-old Houston tradition that’s been renovated to include hiking and biking trails so even non-golfers will enjoy the green space. Miner says Lawndale-Wayside is safer compared to other areas nearby. “I would say it is safer compared to places closer to downtown Houston,” he says.
