Eagle Creek Park is a city-wide destination with plenty of recreation on land and water. Thrill-seekers can race down the zipline or climb between treetops at the Go Ape Adventure Park. Local schools send their students to the Earth Discovery Center and Ornithology Center, where they can witness a live raptor feeding or learn from a naturalist. The park has a network of trails ranging from 1 and a quarter miles to nearly 7 miles. "I kayak-fish, so I prefer going to Eagle Creek because we don't have to deal with the bigger boats," Hanna says.
