Summer was an amazing realtor to have for a first time home buying experience. She walked me through every step from finding a lender and getting pre-approval all the way through to the finish line. I ended up with the location and price point I was looking for. In addition to being an amazing realtor, Summer really knows the city, the market, and how to keep moving forward, even in tough situations. I would trust anyone I know with her guidance. I can't wait to get started restoring my Broad Ripple bungalow to its historical glory because of her.

Summer is an excellent agent!

Since day one she has been easy to schedule with, always energetic and friendly. She has the knowledge to walk seemingly anyone through the home-buying process, and make the experience less daunting. While viewing homes, she was always ready to hop in with tips on what to look for, what could be improved, and showcased the highlights of each property, but she also cut straight to the truth when she saw issues with a potential home or sensed that we were on the fence, or had doubts. She has no qualms with starting honest conversations that can help get down to the core of what you the customer are really seeking in a home.

She was always available to answer our questions over text or phone call, and consistently touched based with us all the way up until after closing to remind us of important tasks in the process, and make sure there were no hitches or delays. She can explain the transactional process of homebuying (including inspections and negotiations) just as effortlessly as she can give a great tour of a house, and we never doubts that the deal would go through smoothly, on-time, with all parties walking away pleased.

It has been a totally hassle free and pleasant experience working with her, and we highly recommend her services!

Summer was so supportive and patient with us during the process of selling our home! She honored our home by helping us stage it for listing and highlighting the details we loved about it. She also respected our boundaries and family dynamic by asking people to wear masks and scheduling showings around our daughter’s routine. On the evening we had to pack up stuff before our house photos, she sent us pizza! She knew how much work we had ahead of us and wanted to take care of us. It’s those personal and thoughtful details that makes Summer someone you want to work with. Selling our house above asking with an all cash offer was a plus but the most important thing is that Summer makes a stressful process more fun. 10/10 would work with again!

GIIIIIIRRRRLLLLL when I tell you that THIS LADY is the bomb, I mean she is literally the bomb. So I started my journey like 4 years ago, and it took us like 1.5 years to find my forever home, all with Summer. She had the patience to show me 100000 houses umtil i found the one. It was Beautiful and not to mention yhe price was great. Summer got me an almost 3k sqft house for 150k in a nice neighborhood. She definitely knows how to negotiate. Fast forward 2 years and I have been searching in the covid market with sky high prices for a flip. I finally decided, if I'm going to do a flip, and start a business doing this, I have to take a leap of faith and sell my house. At that point, I had upgraded some stuff and summer got me 110k over what I paid for my home. Yes, 100k. Now I'm house hunting for a cash buy and flip. She has been with me every step of the way, we even drove 2 hours away to see a house before. The most real, down to earth person I have met. She is never judgmental and she never makes you feel pressure like "get this house it's perfect" when it not, it's never going to be about her commission. It's about making the customer happy and helping them find what's best for their situation. I can't wait to continue working with her. If you are on the fence about Summer Hudson Sloan, just take the leap and you won't regret it!

As first-time home buyers during a total seller’s market, this process was so intimidating, but from the first phone call, Summer made everything so palatable and easy. She was honest about what amenities and features we could get within our budget and set our expectations from the very beginning. She quickly picked up on our tastes and sent us suggestions. Never once did she make us feel like we were putting her out when we went to look at listings and she was always honest if she felt that a house was going to be more work than we wanted or if there were signs of issues with a house.

Within a week we found a really cute little house that we wanted to put an offer on. After calling the seller’s agent to get the scoop, we learned we had only a very short time to put in an offer. Summer and May got the paperwork done and sent to us before we could even get all the way home. And while our offer wasn’t accepted on that house, this anecdote is a perfect allegory for our entire experience with Summer.

We knew the whole time that Summer represented other buyers and sellers, but her focus and dedication to us made us feel like were her only clients. She explained the process in simple terms, talked us down when we had a scare with our inspection, and negotiated fiercely on our behalf. Now we are the proud owners of a beautiful craftsman house with incredible character that we wouldn’t have looked at if Summer hadn’t encouraged us to take a second look.

We would highly recommend Summer to anyone looking to buy or sell a house.

Summer was an absolute delight to work with! I initially found her on Instagram when I began my search for my first home. I sent her a message through her website and within the afternoon she called me back! She was very personable and clearly explained the home buying process as well as the current state of the market. She worked with me to figure out what exactly I was looking for in a house and spent an entire day out on the hunt with me until I found "the one". She is incredibly knowledgeable about the downtown area, especially the Eastside neighborhood I was searching in, was always available to answer questions, and helped me through every step of this stressful process. My husband and I loved working with Summer! We were recommended her from a friend a few months ago, and she made contact with us, getting acquainted and asking for what details we were looking for in our home. It was very easy to chat with her via text (what I prefer!) and she quickly set up an account to show us houses in our preferred areas. We toured a couple of houses, and we saw one we finally liked a few weeks later. This was our first time being home owners, so we had a LOT of questions and Summer was so knowledgeable and easy to contact with our many (and possibly sometimes stupid haha) questions. Quick to respond and very helpful with her responses. Loved the timeline she gave us in our process because it really helped us stay on track. We also used her recommendation for a loan officer (DeAngela Taylor - another rock star!!!) and it was a very great process. My husband and I were very scared of this process because it was so brand new, but Summer helped is through it with such ease and comfort. Inspections, communication with the seller, and closing went very smoothly because she was on top of everything and made sure we were on top of everything. I would definitely recommend Summer for your home search needs! :) It was a great experience and we are very happy with our choices.

We could not have asked for a better realtor than Summer Hudson to lead us through the process of buying our first house and helping make sure it was our dream home. With her help, we got everything on our wish list and more! From the beginning she listened to what we wanted and hustled to get us to get us to viewings of any house that looked promising. She was responsive and supportive, especially during an already chaotic house hunting season made more complicated by a pandemic.
