Many residents hike at the Irvine Open Space Preserve. “You also have access to some great trails, which run all the way to Crystal Cove State Park. The Quail Hill Trailhead is the only dog-friendly trail in the preserve. It leads to scenic landscapes, including fields of flowers and grassy coastal hills, where hikers can see wildlife from rattlesnakes to roadrunners. Quail Hill Community Park has a community center with multiple rooms for programs and events as well as an exercise room. The outdoor part of the park includes sports courts and fields, barbecue grills and picnic tables.
