A large manufacturing and distribution center with a few homes along the Broward River

Imeson Park is a hub of Jacksonville distribution and manufacturing, home to warehouses of major employers like Samsonite and Amazon. The bulk of the neighborhood is made up of massive logistics warehouses and vast swaths of undeveloped land, leaving little space for housing. There are a few small neighborhoods that branch off from Cedar Bay Road, plus homes on the Broward River. There are also a couple of dozen homes just north of the Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens, which is a popular tourist attraction. Home prices in Imeson Park are on par with the rest of Jacksonville, but its buyers are drawn to the community's proximity to the river, which surrounds the area on three sides.

New construction and established homes overlooking the Broward River

Housing development in Imeson Park sprawls across 70-plus years. Some houses along Cedar Bay Road date back to the 1950s, while others were built as recently as the 2020s. Homes in the Cedar Bay subdivision were built between 2010 and 2015. Contemporary colonial and New Traditional homes fill the Cedar Bay subdivision, and ranch-style and custom mansions line Cedar Bay Road. Homes measure around 2,000 square feet on average and have at least three bedrooms. Houses that measure under 2,000 square feet, and built before the 2000s, sell anywhere between $300,000 and $700,000. Buyers will also find several homes along the Broward River listed between $800,000 and $1.4 million. A million-dollar price tag often includes a private dock and over an acre of land. Most lots in Imeson Park are heavily wooded, and streets are lined with shaggy palms and mature oaks draped with Spanish moss.
