Love Grove-Riviera Manor is a suburban retreat interlocking with the slow-moving Pottsburg Creek in Jacksonville, Florida. The Arlington region was designed with green spaces in mind, so Love Grove-Riviera Manor has several parks surrounding the suburb. To explore the nearby creeks and rivers, locals can begin their voyage at the Beach Boulevard Boat Ramp, perfect for smaller vessels. But for those who prefer to keep their feet on dry land, Adolph Wurn Park boasts newly renovated play equipment, as well as football and baseball fields. The city runs a drop-in program at the park called Rec N' Roll for children during the summer. If kids are part of a local baseball league, they might spend game days at Fletcher Morgan Park. The grounds contain a play area and basketball courts, as well as four junior baseball diamonds that host the San Souci Baseball Association.

Although Love Grove-Riviera Manor is primarily residential, there are commercial properties along the bustling Beach Boulevard, so locals don't have to travel far for a bite to eat or refill their kitchen shelves. Before leading drivers to the beachfront, these streets offers retailers and dining locations. Many will shop for groceries at Publix Super Markets at Arlington Square. To the east is Rowe's IGA inside the Promenade At Beach Boulevard.
The area leans heavily towards fast food chains. Still, residents can find a modest number of locally-run spots for quick takeout, such as Woody's Bar-B-Q or Hot Wok on University Boulevard. Locals say that El Rinconcito de Lima is an excellent spot for authentic Peruvian cuisine. The neighborhood also hosts a number of international food stores, such as Bosnian Kwik Mart. New World Food Market sells fresh and dried ingredients. The establishment also serves Korean-style hot food in the front dining area. Just a mile down Beach Boulevard is La Favorita Grocery Store, which offers food items as well as Mexican-inspired cuisine.
Love Grove-Riviera Manor is less than 15 miles from the beachfront and 5 miles from the city center, making this an attractive location for commuting and exploring.
