The Bluffs was initially developed during the 1980s as part of a master-planned community. “The community was built by Divosta, one of the area’s most prolific builders,” Hyland says. “They pioneered the poured concrete home concept.” The neighborhood features many single-family and multifamily options and a highly rated RV Resort for tourists passing through. Highrise condominiums come with scenic oceanfront views and are priced between $700,000 and $850,000. Coastal-contemporary style townhouses and coach homes can also be found scattered throughout. Each subdivision has its own HOA, and fees vary. According to FEMA, the neighborhood has a very high hurricane risk and is susceptible to wind and flood damage from stronger storms. Palm Beach County encourages homeowners to participate in the National Flood Insurance program.Ocean-side parks and protected natural areas

The Jupiter Ridge Natural Area encompasses 271 protected acres of scrubby flatwood, marsh and mangrove ecosystems. Visitors can explore the 2.5 miles of hiking trails or try to catch a glimpse of a wild manatee swimming through the waterways. Yet exploring the beach is only half the fun as residents also enjoy convenient boating access provided by The Bluffs Marina. Watercraft of all sizes can be stored or launched into the Intracoastal, which connects with the Jupiter Inlet to the north. “It's one of the best deep-water marinas in the area because there’s easy ocean access and no fixed bridges,” Hyland says. “Tiger Woods kept his boat there for years.”Highly rated public schools in Palm Beach County
