Waterfront community wedged between the Intracoastal and Atlantic Ocean
The Bluffs is an exclusive waterfront community where launching a boat into the Intracoastal is as convenient as getting a bite to eat from local restaurants nearby. The neighborhood has two waterfronts, as it's wedged between the Atlantic Ocean to the east and the Intracoastal to the west. This grants residents easy access to recreation on the water, although there’s plenty of fun to be had on dry land in the numerous parks and nature preserves in the area. A variety of single-family and multifamily housing options are available and serve as an accessible home base for residents looking to explore the vibrant restaurants and shopping centers found in the greater Jupiter area. “The Bluffs is a classic coastal community with prime waterfront locations,” says Jennifer Hyland, local managing partner at The Hyland Group at Corcoran. “There’s a ton of amenities and great ocean views.”

Ocean-side parks and protected natural areas
Residents of The Bluffs enjoy community-maintained amenities, including tennis courts and swimming pools. Walking paths crisscross throughout the different subdivisions and connect to pocket parks and the FIND dog park. Juno Beach Park and Ocean Cay Park provide unparalleled access to the sandy shores and lapping waves of the Atlantic Ocean nearby. The Juno Beach Pier juts out into the deep blue waters and is a hotspot for saltwater fishing and guided historical tours of the area. The Jupiter Ridge Natural Area encompasses 271 protected acres of scrubby flatwood, marsh and mangrove ecosystems. Visitors can explore the 2.5 miles of hiking trails or try to catch a glimpse of a wild manatee swimming through the waterways. Yet exploring the beach is only half the fun as residents also enjoy convenient boating access provided by The Bluffs Marina. Watercraft of all sizes can be stored or launched into the Intracoastal, which connects with the Jupiter Inlet to the north. “It's one of the best deep-water marinas in the area because there’s easy ocean access and no fixed bridges,” Hyland says. “Tiger Woods kept his boat there for years.”

Highrise condominiums with scenic ocean views
The Bluffs was initially developed during the 1980s as part of a master-planned community. “The community was built by Divosta, one of the area’s most prolific builders,” Hyland says. “They pioneered the poured concrete home concept.” The neighborhood features many single-family and multifamily options and a highly rated RV Resort for tourists passing through. Highrise condominiums come with scenic oceanfront views and are priced between $700,000 and $850,000. On the other side of US-1, single-family Spanish Revivals with stucco exteriors and tiled roofs sit under the shade of towering palm trees and sell from $1 million to $1.5 million. Coastal-contemporary style townhouses and coach homes can also be found scattered throughout. Each subdivision has its own HOA, and fees vary. According to FEMA, the neighborhood has a very high hurricane risk and is susceptible to wind and flood damage from stronger storms. Palm Beach County encourages homeowners to participate in the National Flood Insurance program.
