Top ranked hospital in Orlando area
Nestled near the heart of Kissimmee, Columbia is a predominately residential community just minutes away from conveniently located shops and supermarkets, the city’s old town quarter and Orlando’s world-renowned amusement parks. Folks living in Columbia are centrally located near the intersection of Routes 17 and 192, two busy highways in the city's center. On north-south Route 17, a signature pedestrian bridge bearing the city’s name greets motorists traveling through Columbia. Flanking each side of the roadway, condo developments, apartment complexes and gated communities governed by homeowners' associations comprise most of the community. AdventHealth, one of the city’s top five employers, also occupies a large footprint in Columbia with its 24-hour medical center that U.S. News & World Report ranks as the No. 1 hospital in the Greater Orlando area.
Townhouses and single-family homes

At the market’s starting point, apartment and townhouse-condo units with approximately 1,000 square feet of living space sell for between $125,000 and $200,000. Larger townhouses with colorful stucco walls, older craftsman bungalows and ranch-style homes sell for around $200,000 to $400,000. Sizable Mediterranean-style homes with red tile roofs and stately Colonials with columned facades reach the market’s peak at approximately $500,000.
