Historic homes are common in Knightstown, and buyers will find both Victorian homes with decorative trim and carved porch posts, as well as renovated Colonial homes from the early 1900s. Athletes and scholars shine in Knightstown

Kids in Knightstown attend public schools in the C.A. Beard Memorial School Corporation, which has an overall Niche grade of B and is ranked the 31st best school district in the Indianapolis area. Knightstown Elementary offers pre-kindergarten through third grade and earns an overall Niche grade of B-minus. Knightstown Intermediate School earns a C-plus grade from Niche and has a student-teacher ratio of 16:1. Football and state fairs

NFL fans can enjoy Indianapolis Colts games at Lucas Oil Stadium, which is about 20 miles west of Indianapolis. The Indiana State Fair is held each year for two weeks in July and August and is the sixth oldest state fair in the nation.
