Laguna Heights offers residents a little bit of everything

Located in east-central Laguna Niguel, the Laguna Heights neighborhood is characterized by modern master-planned communities, high-quality public schools, and easy access to shops, restaurants and parks. “There really aren’t many drawbacks to living here,” says Heights resident Candice Blair, a broker with Coldwell Banker who has worked in the area for over 20 years. “It’s a little further from the beach than some other neighborhoods, but that means we don’t get fog during June Gloom. We still get the sea breeze, though.”
Laguna Heights residents enjoy visiting nearby farmers markets, where they can find fresh, locally grown produce, artisanal goods, and a lively community atmosphere.

Multiple trails connect different parts of the neighborhood to each other and to local parks and are popular with hikers, runners and mountain bikers. “If you follow the Colinas Ridge Trail up to the top of the ridge, you can see aloof San Juan Capistrano,” says Blair. “And the Salt Creek Trail goes all the way to Salt Creek Beach in Dana Point.” On top of its trails and open spaces, Laguna Heights is home to nearly a dozen city parks that offer everything from playgrounds to basketball courts to athletic fields.
