Lake View District offers a central location and nearby amenities
The Lake View District is a residential community that stretches from the relatively flat waterside land near the northwestern edge of Lake Elsinore to the cedar-lined canyons on the outskirts of the city. With several parks, as well as nearby shopping and water recreation, most amenities are within close reach. Proximity to major highways has also made it a popular bedroom community. “It has a central location, plus you get a lot of bang for your buck versus Murrieta, Corona or Temecula,” says John Metcalf, broker with Inland Valley Realty, who has lived in Lake Elsinore since 1998.
Downtown Lake Elsinore, including the Lake View District, blends vintage architecture and antique shops with modern development, creating a unique mix of old and new.
Many residents of the Lake View District take their boats out regularly, enjoying leisurely cruises, fishing trips, and the serene beauty of Lake Elsinore, making the lake a central part of their lifestyle.

Everything from manufactured homes to solar-paneled new construction
The Lake View District has housing to fit a range of budgets. At the lower end are manufactured homes in the 55-plus Huntsman Mobile Home Park, where listings generally run between $65,000 and $135,000, plus an additional monthly site fee of around $850. Other manufactured homes in the community tend to sell between $270,000 and $450,000, and these do not have HOA dues or site fees. Condos are often priced from $270,000 to $370,000.Compact bungalows and ranch-style homes built between 1920 and 1990 rest along some of the flatter streets near the lake. These may range from about $350,000 to $650,000. Between $650,000 and $950,000, buyers may find Spanish-style residences in post-2000 developments, some cradled in the steep outlying canyons and others just a few streets from the lake. The newest designs often boast solar roof panels and two-car garages equipped with EV charging stations.
