Lake Bently Shores has New Traditional brick buildings with colorful shutters, while Kimberlea condos have a more minimalist modern look. Mayfaire by-the-Lake is one of the oldest art festivals in Central Florida, taking place in Lakeland each May. It features over 150 artists and food trucks spaced out along Lake Morton. From September to July, residents can head to Lakeland Downtown Farmers Curb Market every Saturday for homemade and homegrown goods sold by locals. The city’s First Friday events all have unique themes and encourage the city to get together.

Cross-country running through Holloway Park
Holloway Park serves as a park and nature preserve full of running trails. Running and walking trails go through various terrains, including the swamp, wetland and around Lake Ann. The park also sports a disc golf course. Cleveland Heights Golf Course, also called The Heights, has a public 27-hole golf course along with golfing amenities like instruction and a pro shop. Previously named the Cypress Youth Sports Complex, John McGee Park features a car-themed playground for the kids to play.

Athletes can succeed at Lakeland Senior High
Students can attend Philip O’Brien Elementary School and Crystal Lake Middle School, which both receive a C from Niche. Lakeland Senior High School earns a B-plus from Niche and is ranked the 37th best high school for athletes in Florida, with their cheer team winning state championships every year from 2019 through 2023. The football team also won state championships in 2022 and 2023.

I haven't been here long, but everyone so far has been very polite and friendly, also a lot of the stores here sell a large variety of items, my only complaint is nearly nothing is walking distance away.
