Oak and palm trees dot the neighborhood’s suburban landscape, which has quiet streets lined with sidewalks. Homes usually sell for between $325,000 and $550,000, and most were built between the 1960s and 1980s. Largo Plaza, about a mile east, is anchored by Target and also has a Marshalls, Chili’s, Olive Garden and a movie theater. Publix and The Home Depot are also just across the street. Less than 3 miles north, new developments in downtown Largo are revitalizing the area to include more mixed-use shopping, dining and residential areas next to Largo Central Park. “They’re trying to get that same feel as downtown St. Pete,” says Barbara Brockwell, Realtor at The Brockwell Group in Largo. “They’re making it more pedestrian friendly, hosting events; it’s big.”Ten minutes from the beach and outdoor spaces like Walsingham Park

The facility also hosts its annual Holiday Lights In the Gardens event, which lights up the grounds with over 1 million Christmas lights. Largo Central Park is also less than 3 miles north. “That’s where they have the bigger, more managed, beautiful playground for the kids. They do a train ride throughout Largo Central Park once a month, so that’s a big deal,” Barbara Brockwell says.Located several miles inland, Walsingham Heights is not in a flood zone. However, locals can drive to miles of shoreline along the Gulf of Mexico in about 10 minutes. Indian Rocks Beach is one of several beach communities nearby.
