The Loop is a tiny Larkspur neighborhood perched in the forested hills above the city’s cozy, rustic downtown district. Its homes are tucked away along twisty, single-lane country roads with views of the surrounding Marin County hills and mountains. Residents have enviable access to the county’s rugged trail networks, sprawling regional parks and to the downtown district’s mom-and-pop shops and restaurants. “You’ve got excellent schools, lots of hiking and biking trails and you’ve got Larkspur’s historic little downtown. It’s all mom-and-pop shops and old buildings with tons of character,” says Realtor Lynnette Kling of Coldwell Banker Realty, a longtime Marin County resident.
