Townhouses and single-family homes are distinguished by low-maintenance yards, open floor plans and tile floors that stand up to the desert climate. Many houses include garages and off-street parking. Ranch styles, cottages and New Traditionals range between $200,000 and $400,000, with condos and townhouses listing around $120,000 and $250,000. Villa Borega, which is a 55 and older community with manufactured homes, is usually priced under $100,000.

Rancho High School has a B, and is a magnet school with programs in pre-medicine and Private Pilot, and Aerospace Engineering.
