A quiet neighborhood in south Lima
The Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. community, anchored by a park that also honoris the iconic civil-rights leader, straddles the line between acres and acres of rural land and more built-up sections of Lima, Ohio. Housing prices are notably lower here, compared to those in Central Lima and other parts of the state. Adding to the more-spread out vibe, the neighborhood scores nearly the maximum in terms of "calm." Even so, daily commutes into town are straightforward and quick, as is the nearby access to Interstate 75, U.S. Highway 65 and the Eastgate Shopping Center.
