A community centered around nature
Where hundreds of acres of greenspace and wooded nature preserves meet modern subdivisions and shopping centers is the outdoor-oriented community of Seven Bridges. Thousands of acres of outdoor recreation
All residents here are within walking distance of the nearest park or nature preserve. Greene Valley is home to 1,388 acres of woodlands and open fields and is a popular spot among local birders and picnickers. This preserve is home to over 13 miles of hiking trails, and, in the warmer months, folks can enjoy panoramic views from the scenic overlook. Dog owners bring their pups to Greene Valley’s fenced-in off-leash dog park. The 110-acre Egermann Woods forest preserve is home to a pre-settlement oak-woodland, one of the few that remains in DuPage County. Those seeking a quiet walk can be found along the preserve’s 1-mile loop.
River Bend and Seven Bridges golf clubs are both located in the neighborhood. Both courses are public, and the latter is also home to The Dock Bar and Grill, a laid-back eatery featuring pub fare, cold beer and hand-crafted cocktails. “Some homes in the neighborhood back up to Seven Bridges Golf Course, so those looking for golf course living will enjoy living here,” says Amy Pearson, a local Realtor with @properties. “Folks also enjoy being close to the outdoor activities offered at Greene Valley.”

More secluded subdivisions like Donwood Drive feature $900,000 to $2 million homes with 2 and 3-acre lots and over 5,000 square feet.
Along with its varied selection of single-family homes, Seven Bridges also features hundreds of townhomes and condo units. One-bedroom units start at $180,000 while three-bedroom, 2,000-square-foot townhomes can hit the market for $400,000.

Nearby grocers and local eateries
“While the community is centered around outdoor recreation and natural areas, locals are still close to shops and amenities,” says Pearson. Most residents of Seven Bridges take the short drive west to Naperville or Aurora for their shopping needs, with nearby grocery stores including Jewel-Osco and Mariano’s, both located on Naper Boulevard. While the community isn’t known for its extensive dining scene, a handful of local favorites can be found along Highway 53. Jam N’ Jelly Cafe is a popular family-owned brunch spot and, a few doors down, Ike & Oak Brewing Company is known for its refreshing craft brews and house-made pizzas.
