A rural community with room to breathe in southern New Hampshire
Litchfield sits east of the Merrimack River and northeast of Nashua. While the neighborhood is close to the city, it is a very different lifestyle. “The area is very rural, with lots of open space,” Thomas McPherson with RE/MAX says. McPherson has lived in the area for over 25 years and has several years of local real estate experience. “If you want to be in a quainter town near the cities, this is the place for you, with lots of farmland and two-acre lots.”
Family-centric homes with spacious yards in Litchfield

Litchfield is a car-dependent neighborhood — there isn’t any public transportation, and it isn't very walkable. However, residents can get to where they need to go quickly by car. “You’re a budding town to Nashua, so it is very conveniently located near everything,” McPherson says. “You can jump on route three and ride that up to Manchester.”
