A rural community with room to breathe in southern New Hampshire
Litchfield sits east of the Merrimack River and northeast of Nashua. While the neighborhood is close to the city, it is a very different lifestyle. “The area is very rural, with lots of open space,” Thomas McPherson with RE/MAX says. McPherson has lived in the area for over 25 years and has several years of local real estate experience. “If you want to be in a quainter town near the cities, this is the place for you, with lots of farmland and two-acre lots.”
Family-centric homes with spacious yards in Litchfield
Homes in Litchfield come in various shapes and sizes, including ranch-style houses and Cape Cod-style homes. The neighborhood also offers some unique, multi-generational housing options. “They are great for families taking care of family,” says McPherson. “They are like duplexes but designed for families, like having two houses.”
