When you’re traveling down the streets of the Sterne Park area in Littleton, one thing that stands out is the individuality of every home. A simple 10-mile drive is all it takes to get to downtown Denver – or to return to Sterne Park’s individualized charm.

Buyers can find homes in the neighborhood for between $450,000 and $1.05 million on average, with a typical four-bedroom house selling for about $630,000. Demand for homes in the market can be competitive, with many properties selling after being listed for less than two weeks.

Enjoy the natural beauty of Sterne Park
Residents can find a playground, a pond, rope ladders and a walking trail at Sterne Park, the neighborhood’s namesake. Across the street, residents can take in the sight of more than 1,800 roses at the War Memorial Rose Garden, dedicated to the memory of those who served in the armed forces. On the east side of the neighborhood near Gallup Street, the Ketring-Gallup Park complex brings the convenience of three parks to a single area. Residents can enjoy a game of tennis at Gallup Park, view public art installations and flowers at Gallup Gardens, or enjoy a day of fishing at Ketring Park.

Summer music and caroling in the snow
During the summer months, Sterne Park hosts a monthly concert series called the Littleton Little Jam. Residents can visit the park to hear local bands in a variety of genres, from classic rock and R&B to jazz and hip-hop. During the winter, festive residents can visit downtown Littleton for visits with Santa and caroling. To the neighborhood’s immediate east, Colorado Pinball Pub hosts events like pinball leagues, trivia and ladies’ nights out. Two miles east of the neighborhood, Fraco’s Bar offers live music in a variety of genres, as well as open mic nights and four nights of karaoke a week.
Lots of learning in Littleton
The Littleton Public Schools district serves students in the Sterne Park area. Little Raven Elementary School opened in 2023 after two existing schools, Moody Elementary and East Elementary, were merged. Moody Elementary previously held an A minus grade with users on Niche, while East Elementary held a B grade. Older kids in the area attend Euclid Middle School, which holds an A-minus grade on Niche. Littleton High School holds an A with Niche users and offers a range of more than 50 clubs and varsity sports.

Drive or hop on the light rail to Denver
Sterne Park area residents can reach Denver’s central business district with a 10-mile drive into the city on US-85 and Interstate 25. Commuters can also save money on gas by taking the RTD light rail’s D line into the city from the Littleton-Downtown station, just west of the neighborhood on West Alamo Avenue. Bus service is also available from the Sterne Park area, with multiple stops on West Littleton Boulevard. Medical needs can be addressed at AdventHealth Littleton Hospital, 3 miles to the south. Denver International Airport is 30 miles northeast of Sterne Park for travel beyond the Denver metro area.
