Upper-end suburban living next to Livermore’s largest employer
Coventry’s contemporary homes, leafy streets and community parks are the backbone of this well-rounded Livermore neighborhood. The neighborhood sits at the eastern edge of the city, right beside Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, a large, federally funded lab and major area employer. “Driving through Coventry, it feels luxurious. The homes are large, the lots are large, and they were built more recently than the homes in west Livermore,” says Realtor Aiden Kim of Compass Realty, who lives in neighboring Pleasanton. “There are a lot of laboratory employees who live in the neighborhood. You could walk to work.”

Spacious contemporary homes on sprawling 9,000-square-foot lots
The neighborhood’s homes were built in the late 1990s with large lots that typically top 9,000 square feet. Its homes are also spacious — with high ceilings, open floorplans and three-car garages. Prices typically range from $1.4 million to $1.8 million, slightly higher than the city’s median home prices. “It’s more affordable than if you were to get a comparable house in Dublin or Pleasanton, and that seems to be attracting a younger generation to the area,” Kim says.
