Located on the site of a former vineyard, it’s now home to a large playground, grassy meadows and a sprawling dog park. “A lot of kids like to hang out at this park. There are a lot of young families in the neighborhood,” Nicolay says. Dunsmuir is well-placed for outdoor adventuring. It sits at the edge of the pastoral East Bay countryside, just a few miles from hiking and biking in the Mount Diablo foothills and boating and fishing at Lake De Valle.
