Shadowbrook has two green spaces. Ravenswood Park has a historic building that was once part of a country estate, while Independence Park has multi-use fields, a gym and a playground. Sycamore Grove Park is about 1 mile south of Shadowbrook and spans 775 acres open for hiking, biking and horseback riding. Downtown Livermore is 2 miles north and home to various restaurants, shops and cultural attractions like the Livermore Art Association and Gallery.
