Carrying on the Wrigley legacy
Located in the Wrigley area of Long Beach, Southeast Wrigley is known for its convenient setting and strong sense of community. Local businesses and events provide opportunities for neighbors to connect. With major freeways and the Metro A Line nearby, you have quick access to both regional commutes and Downtown Long Beach's entertainment, dining and cultural attractions.
Housing in Southeast Wrigley
Almost 90% of neighborhood residents rent, and multifamily properties make up a large share of the housing. Unlike the high-rise condos found in downtown Long Beach, many of the multifamily options here include two-story apartment buildings, duplexes and older homes with ADUs. These tend to sell from around $1 million to $2 million. You’ll also see a few single-family homes, such as Craftsman-style cottages and Spanish-style designs. Houses typically range from the mid-$500,000s to the mid-$850,000s. The median sale price is in the low $700,000s, below the citywide median.

Wrigley-area traditions and celebrations
The Wrigley neighborhoods each have their own character, but they work together to organize and host several events each year. These include:
Wrigley River Run, which includes races and walks for residents of all ages, including a Toddler Trot
Daisy Lane Parade, a December tradition since the 1950s, with festive floats and holiday decorations along Daisy Avenue
Annual Pie Baking Contest, where neighborhood bakers show off their skills and locals help judge the entries
Close to Veterans Park and the Wrigley Greenbelt
The community’s main recreation area is the Locust Tot Lot, a small play space for young children. Veterans Memorial Park, just a short distance north, has sports fields, a community center and acres of open green space. Another popular destination is the Wrigley Greenbelt, a nearly 10-acre linear park with a walking trail, picnic areas and native landscaping along the Los Angeles River.
