Located in the heart of Macomb, Michigan, Macomb Township is a suburban haven renowned for its captivating landscapes. This scenic region is a golfer’s haven where the greens are right at residents’ doorsteps, making it the ideal place for lifestyle and leisure. The community is commuter-friendly with it being roughly 45 minutes to Detroit.

Main thoroughfares such as Romeo Plank Road and North Avenue run the length of the community and lead to residential roads, which reveal sought-after subdivision neighborhoods like West Park Estates. The community is mostly comprised of one- and two-story craftsman homes with brick and stone details, as well as traditional ranch-style homes. Prices start around $290,000 and reach up to $700,000. Westbridge Manor offers well-maintained mobile homes, with prices starting around $59,000. This mobile park offers resort-style amenities such as a private pool, clubhouse and fitness center. Residents get around the community primarily by car; however, residents can hop on the Smart Bus on North Gratiot Avenue, located in the southern portion of the community.

Recreational opportunities are abundant in Macomb Township. Macomb Corners Park features a whimsical play structure with slides that resemble tree trunks and tower canopies reminiscent of the iconic Berenstain Bears' home, making it a delightful place for children to play. The park also offers sports courts and the popular baseball and soccer fields. There are five prominent golf courses in Macomb Township for golf enthusiasts to practice their golf swing, including the Hickory Hollow Golf Club. This public course features 18 holes that meander through rolling hills, offering picturesque views of the nearby Clinton River. On the grounds of Hickory Hollow are two additional golf courses: Sycamore Hills Golf Club and Bee Tee Golf Course. The Macomb Township Community Recreation Center provides indoor recreation and community events. Throughout the year, this 92,000-square-foot facility invites residents and non-residents to enjoy the aquatic center with its spray features, lazy river and hot tub, as well as fitness rooms for a vigorous workout. The recreation center is a popular venue for hosting birthday parties and also serves as host to numerous annual festivities including the Turkey Hop. During the Turkey Hop, neighbors of all ages take to the dance floor and then bid farewell to the Halloween season by smashing pumpkins. Additionally, the community is just a few miles from Anchor Bay, a vibrant waterfront area with fishing and boating opportunities.

Macomb Township is committed to providing quality education to its residents. Families with school-age children can choose a selection of public and private schools. Cheyenne Elementary School and Seneca Middle School, which both earned an overall Niche score of an A-minus, provide a strong educational foundation before students ascend to Dakota High School. Dakota High also earns an overall Niche score of an A-minus, with academics, teachers and sports receiving the highest accolades. The school offers a wide variety of clubs and activities for students including the Science Olympiad, Gamers Club and numerous foreign language honor societies.

The community boasts a delightful array of restaurants and eateries. From Asian cuisine to Mexican dishes, Macomb Township offers a diverse culinary landscape that caters to a wide range of tastes and preferences. You'll find these eateries conveniently scattered across the township, including popular dining destinations on Romeo Plank Road and Hall Road/Route 59. Among these, El Charro of Macomb stands out as a longstanding gem, serving authentic Mexican fare since 1971. Celebrated for its iconic Puffy Taco and welcoming ambiance, it has become a cherished community favorite. For an at-home culinary experience, residents can visit Kroger or Target Grocery for fresh produce and pantry fillers. Like the dining selections, there are ample retail hubs across or near the township. The most comprehensive is The Mall at Patridge Creek, which houses the MJR Cinema, LOFT, American Eagle and J. Jill.

Macomb Township offers a rich tapestry of suburban living, whether you’re an outdoor or golf enthusiast, someone looking for a welcoming community or a growing family, this community offers the perfect blend of nature and modern amenities.
