Single-family homes in Madeira have a median price point of $450,000, with larger new construction houses ranging up to $1 million. Housing styles vary from older Colonial-style brick builds to newer Craftsman modern homes. There are also a few smaller bungalows in the neighborhood. There are a few quiet residential areas with cul-de-sacs, but many homes are on busy two-way streets. A-rated schools
Kids head to the Madeira City School District, which is considered one of the best in Ohio. “The great school system is really what anchors the town,” says Hilberg. “We are proud of the schools, and it shows in where we are rated.” Madeira Elementary School was ranked by Niche as the 25th-best school in the Cincinnati area. The next stop is Madeira Middle School before Madeira High. All three schools earned an A rating from Niche. Madeira High was noted as being one of the top schools in Ohio and praised for its STEM program.

Madeira Elementary School serves the growing youth from the area.

Sellman and McDonalad Commons
Madeira has a pair of parks, and Sellman Park is located right behind Madeira Middle School. The park has playground equipment and outdoor basketball and volleyball courts. There are community grills and picnic shelters are available upon request. McDonald Commons Park is a larger, 17-acre area that is home to many youth sporting events with three baseball diamonds and three soccer fields. The area also has wooded hiking trails and a playground for children. Tennis fans can play all year round at the indoor courts of the Camargo Racquet Club. The club offers open courts as well as lessons from instructors.
